Glen Ellyn History Park Campaign                     Glen Ellyn Historical Society
Goal: $400,000
The Yalding Fund will allow the Historical Society to reconstruct on the grounds of the History Park the historic Yalding house, built during the Civil War at the corner of Park and Duane and later moved to 594 Hillside.

The timbers for this home have been in storage in a municipal garage for several years. The rebuilt structure will be appointed with period furniture and artifacts, providing a museum depicting life during the Civil War era in Glen Ellyn.

This fund is in memory of Deacon Jonathan P. Yalding, an early settler and active member of the community who was instrumental in establishing the Congregational Church here in 1862.
